A fun filled full or half day excursion starts with Champagne of course! Then enjoy your private power catamaran journey as you cruise the coast of St Kitts with an open top shelf bar. Stopping to snorkel and explore the Caribbean marine life. Once you are done snorkeling our full day will head to Nevis where you will have plenty of time to buy lunch and enjoy one of the most pristine beaches the area has to offer.

I think probably the thing that I could say that would best capture how I felt about our trip with Purple Turtle is that I would book it again, even if we returned to St. Kitt's just next week. Snorkeling with the AquaJets is SO MUCH FUN. There's good stuff to see like fish and stringrays, but even just zooming around is an adventure in itself that I will not soon forget. In addition, the boatride itself is also an experience, with FANTASTIC rum punch, good conversation with the crew, and beautiful scenery. There's a level of service that the crew provides that I just really haven't experienced elsewhere -- for example, Trish called a few of the restaurants that we got to pick from for lunch ahead of time to see who had fresh fish. Most excursions I've been on I wouldn't necessarily repeat (unless it had been a while since I had visited) but our day with Purple Turtle was just THAT GOOD.
We had a great time with Mikay, Trish, & Capt Seymour. It was us and one other couple on the excursion. We enjoyed snorkeling and seeing a sea turtle, sting Ray's, and tons of fish. We had beer and run punch with light snacks. We snorkeled and then took a break for lunch and then snorkeled again. I would recommend to anyone planning to go, wear a swim shirt. My husband and I put sunscreen on before and after each snorkel and still burned our backs and arms. Overall fantastic and our favorite part of our trip. We highly recommend this.
We booked a day charter with power snorkeling to Nevis - The weather was bad the previous day, we called and Trish confirmed they would call us by 8a and sure enough they did - they picked us up under cloudy/rainy skies but the day turned out spectacular after the previous day being very rainy Only some of us tried the power snorkels but it was a lot of fun! Because of the rain, the water was cloudy so the snorkeling was not so great. Trish & Captain Seymour and first mate took care of us with rum punch and good storytelling When we got the Nevis, the surf was rough and we could not pull up on beach so on to Plan B - we went back across the channel and docked at Reggae Beach bar and had a GREAT grilled fish lunch , we stopped for another snorkel stop and landed back at the dock more or less on time, they were on island time! We can highly recommend the experience. Now that our kids are young professionals, we can only get together only a few times a year and Purple Turtle gave us a great day out on the water!
My family had so much fun snorkeling with the aqua jets! These machines are so entertaining to glide through the water on. The jets do NOT have sport cameras attached, but you are allowed to use your private camera to capture pictures. You can use a mask only or add the snorkel if you prefer. Some guest brought their own snorkel equipment, but it isn't necessary. They also offered swim noodles for those who weren't comfortable without them. There are two snorkel stops on this tour. One on the way to Nevis and then another on the return trip. The first stop is right off the bay where Salt Plage is located. The second stop is at a shipwreck. You are not going to see a vibrantly colored coral reef, but you will see plenty of fish. We saw lots of marine life including Parrot Fish, Flounder, Sea Urchins, Sea Stars, Conch, and a turtle. There is a snack available after the first snorkel stop. We had chips, salsa, cheese, crackers, humus, mango, grapes, and brownies. Drinks are available throughtout the entire trip. The catamaran had plenty of room for everyone to spread out and there is a bathroom on board. There is space in the cabin to keep your bags dry on the trip. We stopped at Pinney's Beach in Nevis for lunch. There are three restaurants right next to each other to choose from: Turtle Time, Lime and Sunshine's. The staff was very friendly and professional and ensured that everyone had a wonderful trip.
