What a wonderful experience. The excursion starts right outside the cruise port. We were met by Mr Grey and went into a van. It was a small group of 12 including our family of 5. Jermaine, Mr. Greys nephew drove us around the beautiful island of St. Kitts while Mr Grey narrated and highlighted very interesting facts. We stop a varying points of interests got out took pictures and had a blast. Our last stop was a small beach area with a restaurant (so bring or wear swim suits). Thanks for sharing your knowledge! This was a good combination of activities that even my 12 year old son enjoyed.
We booked this tour the day before our cruise arrived in St. Kitts and when we emailed a question had a response in less than an hour. Our tour was led by the proprietor (Mr. Gray) himself, and he was a fountain of information about the island (including the plants at one of the stops). The weather was overcast and rained a bit the day we were there, which could have limited our enjoyment of the tour, but it didn't because of how much he had to share. He was also very personable and tried to draw people on the tour (we were in a small van) into the conversation. He also has acute hearing, and answered a few questions that I whispered to my husband!
Returned from cruise with a stop in St. Kitts, only port I hadn't visited before. Booked this tour and was lucky to have Mr. Grey as our tour guide!! Very friendly, informative, answered questions, knew so much about the island, plant life, politics etc! The last stop was at a beach for 90 minutes and as I'm not a beach person, he graciously arranged another tour driver to take me back to port. Highly recommend his tour!
Great tour of the island. Our guide (York) was exceptional and very informative over 30 yrs experience. We had a bit of a delay being picked up from the hotel, but once we got going it was great. Well worth it for the price, great views, history, and able to see a lot in a short period of time. The island reauires taxis everywhere you go, so this a good way to see a lot and save some money for the extra rum punch you will enjoy later! Cheers!
